If you love romantic comedies, then Did You Hear About The Morgan’s? is for you. Now, I will be the first to say that the movie is basically a rip off of 1997’s For Richer or For Poor, but it’s still a cute film.
The only thing that I didn’t like about the movie was Sarah Jessica Parker was acting like Carrie from Sex & The City instead of her character, Meryl. And the same with Hugh Grant! He was basically the same as he was in Two Weeks Notice. Which is a shame, since they can act!
Overall, the movie goes according to the trailer, the Morgan’s witness a murder, have to go to no-man’s land and hide out, fall back in love, catch the killer and get back together. But the best parts are the supporting actors. I love Sam Elliott! That man has one of the best voices in Hollywood! Wow.
I can’t say that it is a must see, but if you need a date movie that both people will enjoy, this a good one. Full price? Well, you won’t be totally mad but for matinee, you’ll be happy!
