Is it just me or has the movies this summer, well sucked? Think about how many movies you went to see this summer? How many movies has made you say… “Oh, I’ve got to go see that!” I know for me, it’s been very few.

With this being Labor Day weekend and the unofficial end of summer, let’s take a look back at the movies that should have been hits but weren’t. Now, one of the reason why movies aren’t doing well is because of the economy, but let’s be real, we spend money on what we want so that’s only a small reason.

Of the movies that came out this summer (May – August), these are the ones who should have been blockbuster films.

Last year at this time, Hollywood had made $4,180,870,000 but this year they’ve only made $4,133,030,000 which is a $478,400 difference. Hum…Maybe Hollywood should stop putting out such crappy movies. Hopefully, the Oscar hopefuls will be a lot better than the summer block busts! I can’t wait for 2011!!

This movie doesn’t do anything for me. I love George Clooney and everything but…I’m thinking DVD for this one.

I love Drew Berrymore in a romantic comedy, so for no other reason, I might have to check this out. Plus Christina Applegate?! Guys grab your girl cause you know she’s going to want to see this one.

Doesn’t this movie remind you of Desperado?

This is documentary about the cover of Pat Tillman’s death. Not much else to say but you know that this is going to be nominated for an Oscar so you can finally say that you’ve seen one.

Which trailer makes you want to see the movie in Novemeber?

This is the type of movie that you need to see on the big screen to enjoy it. It might be the sleeper hit of the summer like 3000, but people have to go see it.

This looks really good and spooky. I’m not a horror fan, but I might have to check this one out if somebody holds my hand. LOL

I like these types of movies. From what I heard, it’s good. So I think this might be a must see!
